the Boys are the pasture

Flash (the light colored horse) and Skippy are back in our pasture for a few months. Their pasture is bare and in desperate need of rain, so the boys are living the high life with us for a few months. While I am not all that fond of horses (they scare me a bit) these two make me laugh and the seem to enjoy the
 attention we give them.

They get  melon and an ear of left over sweet corn  for breakfast every morning.
Skippy thinks it's lick smacking good!!!

  1. I have the same feeling around horses - but those last few pics are worth getting up close to see!

  2. They really are very cute & sweet-or so they seem. Love your shots my friend.
    Have a great day!
    Hugs, Noreen

  3. They are awfully sweet looking!

  4. Those are lovely photos. I rarely get to see them up close to horses like that, they are such beautiful animals.

  5. What great photos! I have to admit that I love watching horses, but am a little afraid of them too, and they always seem to know it! :-)

I hope you're enjoying your weekend!

  6. They look like great visitors. There are two horses next to the church. I like watching them and sometimes I bark at them. But they are always nice to me.

  7. The last time I was on a horse he took me through the bushes and low trees trying to knock me off his back so I'm with you. They're nice animals to look at but I will keep my dsitance. LOL

Thanks for dropping by...I would love to hear what you think of our adventures, so please feel free to add a comment.
