We will miss your WOO...WOO

Today marks one month since we lost our Schatzie, our home has been quieter.
We miss her.
On Saturday at 12:30 p.m. we said good bye to our sweet Gracie.
Today our home is silent.
Gracie had some good days, but most were uncomfortable and painful.
I think I was looking at her health situation thru rose colored glasses.
A large hard mass was found on her abdomen and we could see that she was suffering.
Her eyes and body language told us it was time.
We told her there would be no more pain.
We were at her side when she took her last breath.
11/11/05 to 1/30/2016

Reunited with her sister again.
I know they will both be waiting for us at the Bridge

We will miss your WOO-WOO
Run Free my Girlz, Run Free!!

  1. Our hearts are heavy feeling your loss and sadness. They were both so very loved in life and I know they returned those feelings. Hugs from the Ottos.

  2. Oh dear Lord, no. My heart just aches right now, I can only imagine your pain. Sending a virtual hug to you.

Run fast, run free Gracie. <3

  3. Oh Val - my heart hurts for you & Ron! Your girls I am sure are joyful in Paradise - may their love and joy heal your hearts!

  4. That is such a poignant post and a place we have all been.

    The Johnson family

  5. I'm so sorry, to lose them both so close together, it has to be devastating. The only fault that dogs have, is that they leave us too soon.

  6. Val there aren't words to express how sorry I am... I read this and immediately said NO!!!! I understand how difficult this decision must have been... You and Ron are in my thoughts. The only comfort I can think is she is with Schatzie running around pain-free like puppy dogs again! xoxo

  7. We're so sorry for your loss. It is never easy to come home to a silent home after all those years of being together but both pups will always be in your hearts.

  8. We are so very sorry for the loss of both your babies so very close together, we are also sending soothing virtual hugs your way....

  9. I am so so very sorry Val. this breaks my heart for them and for you. hugs and prayers for you and your husband is your home of silence. my heart hurts and tears are in my eyes.

  10. Val, I am heartbroken for you once again! Each time a fur baby leave us, a big part of our hearts are taken too. I know it helps to know they are together and not in pain any longer-but your pain will last for awhile. I'm so sorry, sending you love.

  11. Oh no, we are so very sad! How hard it must be to lose them both so close together. At least you did find out what was causing her loss of health. Such a hard decision and yet the right decision as we cannot let those we love suffer. Bless your home that it may not be silent very long.

  12. Me and momma's heart is so heavy for you. Momma just can't stop the leaky eyes. You are in our prayers. And yes dear friend you will meet again.
    Buddy and my momma

  13. OMD! My mom has goosebumps from reading this. We are so sorry for your loss, and can't believe both your wonderful babies are gone. It is unbelievable, and I'm sure you can't believe it either. We are just so sorry, but no words will really help. At least your babies are together.

  14. We did not know about Schatzie, so very sorry for your loss of both sweet pups. It is never easy to lose a beloved pet. Soft woos and gentle hugs from all of us.

Woos - Ciara and Lightning and Mom

  15. We are so sorry about Gracie. It's just heart-breaking. Our prayer is that she is with Schatzie now, waiting for you until the Lord calls you home. (Preferably not for a long time.)
PS: We send LOTS of husky hugs to you!

  16. Sending you lots of love. I'm not sure how a person manages when they lose their pair of pups so close together. I was shocked and so very sad for you when I read the news. Gracie was such a sweetie, and I know how much you'll miss her.

  17. OMD's...Run free, girls. Ruby is there with you. We lost Bart in March and Ruby in December but this is too, too soon. Sending love, hugs and rottie kisses...

  18. I want you to know how saddened I was to hear that both of your dogs had passed away. They was your faithful companion for many years, and I know that they was more than a pet to you.

    Please accept my sincere sympathy.

  19. Oh Val, I am so sorry to read this! I know there are no words that I can say to take away the ache you are feeling at this loss. I hope knowing your girls are together, running free and having adventures while they wait for you, brings comfort. It has for me, as I've been looking through photos this weekend, and remembering my crew that are at the Bridge. They are never forgotten, and I truly believe they aren't that faraway from us, and they truly do still live on in that special place in our hearts. Again, I am so sorry, and know that from my little corner in Virginia, I'm sending prayers that you find that peace in remembering your beautiful girls.

  20. I am sincerely sorry to hear that you lost Gracie too. She is in a happier place but that doesn't make it easy on you. Time will heal but I'm sure they will always be in your heart.

  21. Mom Kim here - I just don't know what to say. To lose both of them so close together - totally devastating - I am so very sorry for your loss of dear Gracie. It is such a tough choice to make but when pain consumes our furry family members, the only choice is to help them leave that painful body behind and give them peace.

Run free now Gracie - we will all be together again someday.

  22. I'm so terribly sorry for your heartbreaking losses, especially within such a short time of each other. Sending hugs to you and sincere sympathy.

  23. I am so sorry to hear about your loss. My heart is crying with you. May your girls be running together at the rainbow bridge. Hugs.

Thanks for dropping by...I would love to hear what you think of our adventures, so please feel free to add a comment.
