2015.....as the sun set

We said goodbye to 2015 and to our Schatzie yesterday.  We are so grateful for all of the kind comments concerning the loss of our sweet girl, your kindness is so appreciated.  We will continue to move forward and explore the world just as Schatzie would have wanted. Dogs teach us great things. We need to live in the moment, love unconditionally, don't take anything for granted, stop and smell all the roses (or pee mail :) take naps, protect your family, enjoy every belly rub and thank God for this amazing ride. Again, thank you all for your support during our time of grief and sadness.

Val, Ron and Gracie

  1. I read about the loss of your most precious girl on FB, and wanted to stop by here and let you know how very sorry I am. I know how hard it is to lose your canine-sister. You gave her a wonderful life, and you opened your heart and home to her when she needed someone the most--What a gift you were to her and she to you - Find comfort in that, in your memories. and in knowing that she's not that far away, because she'll always live in your heart. Again, I'm so, so sorry....

  6. Every second here is a gift which we never should take for granted. Any one of us can be gone at any moment. Always treasure what you have and enjoy life as much as you can. We are still so saddened to hear about Schatzie. Our hearts go out to you.
