to just using those party horns and noise makers????
Schatzie and I spent most of New Years Eve hiding under covers, snuggling on mom' slap and cowering under poppy's chair. It was a night of pure hell for us girlz. It was close to 1:00 before my heart quit pounding and I feel asleep next to mom. I'm exhausted. We're going to watch some football with poppy and do some excessive napping.
How was your New Years Eve?
Gracie
we had the same thing here, it started at 6 pm as soon as it got dark and stopped about 12:30... and it is illegal here but it doesn't stop them
ReplyDeleteWe HATE noise too!
ReplyDeleteWishing you all a wonderful New Year and hope it's packed full of lots of treats, toys, good health, and lots of happiness!
:)
fireworks from 8 p.m. til after midnight. gun shots from midnight til 1:45.
ReplyDeleteAw, we're sorry you were scared. Me and Stanley are not scared of fireworks. Maybe next time we should come over and hold your paw so you aren't scared. Is there a bus that goes to Hawaii?
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
Your Pals,
Murphy & Stanley
Could be worse. In Detroit, they shoot off guns. :) Sorry it was so scary.
ReplyDelete...about the same here. The neighbors let loose with fireworks around 5pm and didn't let up till morning. Monty was very miserable all night.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
Monty and Harlow
Lee hated the midnight fireworks and woke the whole house up in her protest. We hope today is quieter! Lee and Phod
ReplyDeleteIt was the same here, Gracie!! My brothers just slept through it, butt I was frantic!
ReplyDeleteRuby
All of our fur babies don't like the loud noises. We stayed home with them and played cards. :)
ReplyDeleteHappy 2014!!! Did you get my card yet??
Living in Minnesota where it is below zero has advantages...one being that no fool is outside at midnight with fireworks! We had no trouble relaxing and sleeping. I don't think we have ever had fireworks here on New Years.
