Last sunday we joined family and friends for the making
of the annual Christmas Peanut Brittle.
Under the direction of the head Elf--JoMomma-- 9 elves, manned their stations,( I just realized there were more men in the kitchen than women) measured ingredients, washed dishes, buttered pans, cooked the syrup mixture, added the peanuts, stirred the mixture to perfection, rolled the pans for it to cool, broke the brittle and then 33 batches of the BEST peanut brittle were finally packaged.
All of this was done in a record 5 hours with
NO mistake batches --now that's a Christmas Miracle!!
However, the neighborhood squirrels were a bit disappointed.
here's 82.5 Pounds of peanut brittle...
The photo doesn't really show the total picture...
the beauty was friends and family together laughing and enjoying the true spirit of the season.

***Special Note: only one elf was injured in the making of this peanut brittle--JoMomma, but she is expected to make a full recovery after being splattered with some runaway peanut brittle.
Please join me tomorrow for a very special SEE BEAUTIFUL event.
I'm going to have a challenge for ALL of you with a camera.
