Be afraid, be very afraid...

Well mom is playing with a new toy. It's not really new, it's poppy's camera that he has had for a couple years and mom has finally gained enough confidence to give it a whirl .She said it has to many bells and whistles--she prefers using her old reliable NikonD40x.  Now all we hear is clicking, deleting, change the settings,  click, delete, change the settings, click. You get the "picture" LOL.  Guessing it's going to take her awhile to "master" it, but she will get it sooner or later.  Now you know what this means don't you...she's going to be poking that camera in our faces. Oh well, you'll just be seeing more of me!! Mom said that all you camera buffs out there are welcome to critique her work.

***These were all taken with the NikonD90 using the AF-S Nikkor70-300 mm lens

I'm sure they'll be more...stay tuned.

  3. Hi, We have matching cameras and lenses but I don't use ours to the max-hubby loves to play with it but I haven't been so inclines. I do love your second shot of the birdhouse with the flower-love the shading on it.
Hope you have a wonderful Labor Day.

  5. I'm very impressed with your camera skills and so is Domeek! She usually just pulls out the phone's camera or if she's feeling snazy, the Panasonic digital! Oooo ahhh! Hehehe! We can't wait to see more! :-D

  6. Yea!!!! Learning the new camera! Love the birdhouse shot!!

The Nikon 70-300mm lens will shoot a litle "soft" so when you are using it try to keep the aperture around f8 and it should sharpen up a bit for you. (something I had to learn the hard way!)
