Tropical Storm Update

This morning we woke to blue skies and 5 inches of much needed rain. Iselle has gone south after pounding the Big Island and Maui. Not to worry though, the Big Island sent her on her way, seems the Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea stopped her from seriously impacting the rest of the island chain.
Julio must have heard what happened to Iselle and decided to run north. So regular life will resume. Thanks for all the prayers and concern these past few days.

  6. So glad to hear that Iselle just gave you the rain you needed. And glad that you are safe. Hope this is the last you'll see of hurricanes and tropical storms for a while. Our friends live in Pahoa on the Big Island and we're reading that Pahoa took the worst of the hit. They're apparently still without power as we haven't been able to communicate with them yet.

  8. Glad to hear Julio veered off. Good to be prepared but better to not have to deal with all that preparedness!
