R.I.P......little camera!!

 
I seem to be in a bit of a funk. You see, my favorite camera has died after taking 1000's of photos over the past 5 years. I knew it was bound to happen, but I keep hoping it was just a silly phase the camera was going through. It no longer wanted to zoom and things were just  fuzzy. I love that little camera and hate to part with it. Reading camera reviews on line almost felt like I was betraying the poor thing. Last week I read my last review and bit the bullet.  I have a replacement coming but living way out here in the middle of the pacific does have some disadvantages. I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of my new pal and  hope that it lives up to the reviews!!

p.s. the Girlz are fine and probably happy the camera has died so I'm not in their faces with the snapping beast!!

    Oh I am sorry I do hope you can get another one soon I have buried many cameras and it is always so sad. Hug B

    so happy to see this beautiful, sweet face again.. kiss kiss kiss... and oh no on the camera..i have looked at pocket size camera's until i am totally confused. my nikon that i love is doing the same thing, sometimes the pic is good sometimes not and it makes funny noises and sometime opens and stays open. i have had it 3 or 4 years and there has not been a single day i did not snap that camera a dozen times. it is worn out. the new ones have this wi fi thing and i don't want that. can't wait to see what you got

    There's always the hubby's camera. I'm sure he's so busy he won't mind you using it for awhile. So what's the replacement?

    Never easy giving up an old pal and having to learn a whole new device especially when it comes to cameras. Hope you come to love your new camera as much as you loved your old one!

    Whenever our camera acts up, Mom panics, but we have our pocket camera and the phone in case of emergency!
