Look at you! These are really great. Ddi you take these with the new point and shoot?
Must have been nice not to have to get up in the middle of the night to take the photos. I didn't have that luxury. Just another reason to move to Hawaii!
Nicely done Val - my little iPhone couldn't capture it - but it was such an awesome sight! I had to drive five miles east of K'kai, but it did not disappoint!! The shading made it all the more 3-dimensional - it looked like a big marble in the star-studded sky. I was lucky to speak with Pat Jones on the phone & he pointed out Mars, Saturn & Hokulea - I won't forget it for a long, long time!
WOW! It's a nice shot!
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful...and different! Glad you took pictures because I didn't get up in the middle of the night to see it. :(
ReplyDeleteThis morning when I went outside to pee, the moon was sinking in the west and the sun was rising in the east..both at the same time!
gorgeous and this is the only way i will ever see one unless they start doing this in the daytime
ReplyDeletereally great, val!
