LOL - you would think the rain would have been enough water! I have still not been able to convince the collies to use their pool. They just want no part of getting wet.
But I agree, a nice walk in the summer rain can be so peaceful!
We are back now. During the power outage we wanted to go for long walks, but because lines were down in the bush we decided it wasn't safe. Also, they are now paving the road, so it is not safe. We were trapped!
We would love to walk in a warm rain. Our rain here (when it does rain which is almost NEVER) is always VERY cold. Maybe me and Stan will swim over there and walk with you??
Hi Val, So happy to see you have come for a visit!!!! Happy to touch base with you. I use to walk 5 miles a day winter or summer, rain or shine, 365 days a year with Joker. He loved it!! If I could have done that with Zoie I don't think she would have jumped the fence. But that is what she needed -- that much exercise a day just like Joker did. Do come back a little sooner next time!!
Now I have someone to stop by to say hello when I come back to Kauai. Sorry, from last week, I wish I knew you have settle in Kauai. Also, thanks for your blog, I can see my favorite island everyday now.
Dear Gracie... this is your old friend from Oahu! Glad you and Schatzie are back on Hawaii time.... Can't wait to hear about your adventures. Who knows maybe one of these days I can escape and come visit you again. xoxoxo
i think you're getting used to island life!
ReplyDeleteThree miles? Only if there was food and drink at the end!
