309 days....

We hadn't had any measurable snow in 309 days. It was so nice to see snow began to fall yesterday afternoon.  We didn't receive the "big snow" as they were predicting, but we did get snow. The wind is howling and it's bitter cold outside today. I am grateful for that I didn't have to go to work today and can enjoy snuggling with the girlz.
The next few days will be more relaxed--no more parties to attend or baking to do...a couple packages to be mailed (I know they're going to be late) but that's okay. I think the recipients will forgive us!!

    Oh how I wish we could share in your joyful snow! We just have freezing rain right now but if I close my eyes and listen to wind and can almost envision your snow. :) Enjoy your day snuggling with the girlz!

    Hi Val, It sounds like you got the same storm we did-not the 6-8" that were predicted but bitter cold and lots of wind. Glad you get to stay in and stay warm. Sending big hugs to you and the girls today. Enjoy your time at home.

    Relax and enjoy. 309 days is a long time... I was just looking through my photos and we had snow late last May. I don't know the number of days, though.

    Oh dat foto is just BEAUTIFULS! But it does be hard furs a little doxie to walks in da snow...ya knows what I mean. But my mum loves da snow.

    We are having the coldest weather of the whole year so far right now, I miss Zoie more then words can tell but today I am glad that I didn't have to walk her at 6 this morning it was freezing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    No snow here - and that's the way we like it! Rain coming on Monday though. We can always use the rain - but I'd almost prefer snow! (Not likely in San Diego though...) :)

    We did not get snow either, just cold wind. Up by our cabin, they got some. Brown dawgs are excited about that! Nice photo. :)
