Our First 30 days...

I can hardly believe it, but we have been on island 30 days (as of yesterday).  So much has happened in that time. Thought I would share a few fun photos to celebrate.
After 1640 miles in the car  from Nebraska to California
2400 air miles from California to Kauai
we were finally "home"
The Girlz were glad to have their feet on the solid ground.

Within the first couple of days I had found a Hawaiian Monk Seal

Here's my stash of marine floats that have been rescued from the sea.
This is part of my Woman on a Mission--collecting plastic from the ocean.

 The flowers, the aroma!!

Chickens everywhere....even in our backyard

Walks on the beach

 Trips to waterfalls

 Snorkeling with turtles

The taro patches on the north shore

 Locals at work

Threw this one in for Tex...Hawaii isn't all sunrises and sunsets.

Walks along the coconut coast

 {Seeing Beautiful}...one day at a time

now it's time for a nap.

Sea Turtle Test Video

This is a test video....hopefully I did it!!

{see beautiful}

Aloha,
You may have noticed I haven't posted much this week. Well that's due to my relationship with the new laptop computer. I thought it was going well until I wanted to post a video of us snorkeling with the sea turtles. I created this really cool video with titles, credits and even music and I can't get it to download!  Argh....I will keep trying.

Anyhow, I'm sharing this shot of the girlz and poppy. some have asked how they are adjusting. I am sure they miss the freedoms of the farm but enjoying time on the lanai eating pretzels seems to make up for that lost freedom.

If anyone has helpful hints on uploading videos I'm all ears!!!!

Wonder what she had in mind???

Yesterday at lunch time poppy found baby floating in the toilet....Baby is one of Schatzie's favorite toys.  I wonder if baby needed a bath or a swim lesson, only Schatzie knows.....
at least baby is face up!!

Love my sweet, sweet German Shepherd.
